Job summary

You will lead a team of machinists, review drawings, set up and oversee CNC, lathe, and milling processes, and work with engineers to meet production targets while upholding safety and quality.

You will mentor staff, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvements in process efficiency and waste reduction. A strong hands-on leader with a passion for precision is essential.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily machine shop operations ensuring quality and on-time parts delivery.
• Demonstrates strong machining knowledge and leadership ability.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders and related equipment.
• Lead, mentor and train machinists to meet safety, quality and production standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time completion of production schedules.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and production data.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in machining cells through cross-functional collaboration.
