Job summary

The role involves NC programming for 3- and 5-axis aircraft parts, creating wireframe/solid models, drafting work instructions, enabling Lean manufacturing, and coordinating with vendors and customers to optimize tooling, processes and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, BOMs and assembly instructions.
• CAD/CAM proficiency and NC programming experience required.
• Proficient PC use and software skills.
• Fluent oral & written communication skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Program NC equipment for 3-axis and 5-axis machined aircraft parts.
• Create wireframe or solid models for NC programming and tooling.
• Create inspection data for CMM verification from blueprints and NC data.
• Design fixtures and cutter designs to support NC parts.
• Prepare work instructions and schedules to meet delivery requirements.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
