Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus a minimum of one year of additional applied training in a technical occupation.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Must be able to read and understand process plans and sketches.
• Must be able to utilize and interpret precision measuring instruments and conduct work safely.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety regulations and handles parts and machinery with care.
• Reads and understands manufacturing process plans and process sketches.
• Performs precision grinding and finishing of tight tolerance machined details and bushings; reaming and drilling holes as needed.
• Participates in cell or fabrication projects and helps with process improvements to enhance quality, cost and scheduling.
• All other duties as assigned.
