Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Production Supervisor in Seymour, Indiana. You will lead a 2nd shift team at the Seymour Machining Center, overseeing 78L/95L block machining and driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will coach hourly employees, perform root cause analysis on defects and incidents, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement continuous improvement and process capability enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• On-site, 2nd shift (Tue–Fri, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM) required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of a production team to meet targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Oversee machining operations at Seymour Machining Center for 78L/95L blocks.
• Coach hourly DWU employees to promote safe practices and high-quality output.
• Lead root cause analysis on issues and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze business needs and make informed production decisions.
