Job summary

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift (Evening) Machining Supervisor in Shelbyville, Indiana. You will lead machining associates to maximize quality and output while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have machining experience and prior supervision. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred but not required; this role offers competitive benefits and a path to leadership within the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Supervision or leadership experience preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of machining operations; coach and support personnel; enforce safe work methods.
• Execute production plans in line with customer delivery requirements.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently and is repaired when needed.
• Provide training to machine plant department personnel.
• Coordinate with all departments to resolve problems and improve efficiencies and reduce waste.
• Review daily production reports and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and conduct employee performance evaluations.
• Recognize positive contributions and provide counseling or corrective actions as needed.
• Coach employees on performance, behavior, and teamwork; participate in dismissals or suspensions when required.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
