Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Carol Stream, IL.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and electrical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and calibrate machinery. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, reading and interpreting drawings, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and adherence to safety and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure machinery reliability via preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read manuals, diagrams, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Assemble, install, calibrate, and test machinery and components.
• Operate hand and power tools and measuring instruments.
• Adhere to plant safety policies and Lean initiatives.
• Assist junior maintenance colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
