The candidate will train staff, manage manpower, schedule overtime, and uphold company policies and safety programs while coordinating with bargaining unit personnel to sustain productive operations.

Qualifications

• High School Education is required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to gain cooperation from others.
• Basic knowledge of machining practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to contingencies.
• Determine manpower levels with scheduling help.
• Provide training and instruction to employees.
• Assign work to bargaining unit employees.
• Schedule overtime when needed.
• Monitor efficiency and correct as needed.
• Improve productivity.
• Implement SPC and TS 16949 quality programs.
• Understand and administer labor contracts and company policies.
• Maintain productive working atmosphere and relationships.
• Serve as primary contact to bargaining unit workforce.
• Manage and record first aid and medical emergencies.
• Perform lock-up and shutdown procedures at week end.
• Supervise monthly and year-end inventory.
• Handle all incoming calls after 4:30 p.m.
