Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with rotating on-call weekends. Pay starts at $23.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential and experience-based increases.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns, maintaining and rebuilding equipment, studying recurring failures, attending RTU air conditioners, changing filters, washing condensers, tightening belts,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities; fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, perform filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
