Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns, maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment, and manage the building's inventory of supplies and materials.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, Lock-Out-Tag-Out knowledge, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities including fabricating parts.
• Study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
