Job summary

Techmer PM in Batavia, IL is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to operate extrusion and other manufacturing equipment. You will follow standard procedures, work safely, and support quality in a fast-paced plastics environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and preferred experience in manufacturing and extrusion. Competitive pay starts at $21.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential, increasing to $2.00 on January 4, and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience is highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety rules.
• Ensure output is in specification and meets quality standards.
