Job summary

Techmer PM, LLC in Dalton, GA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to run extrusion and related equipment. You will produce plastic compounds for specialty customer applications while adhering to SOPs and safety protocols.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn plant operations. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing experience with extrusion preferred; lifting up to 55 lbs is required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED.
Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Extrusion experience highly desired.
Ability to lift 55 lbs. frequently.
Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for specialty applications.
Work safely by following all standard operating procedures to protect yourself and coworkers.
Engage in process measurement, control, and improvement in assigned tasks.
Learn key operating parameters to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
