Job summary

GOJO Industries in Wooster, Ohio seeks a Machine Operator I for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri) on-site. You will tend basic line machinery, load components, monitor gauges, and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Proficiency will be built through on-the-job training; prior mechanical manufacturing experience is preferred. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $19.08 plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires previous mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of testing equipment and ability to operate this equipment.
• Ability to train others through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Meet the daily production schedule.
• Perform minor operation and changeover procedures and assist maintenance on major changeovers.
• Verify availability of required components, sub-assemblies and supplies at work station for orders.
• Load equipment with components such as caps, bottles, film, pumps, labels and shippers.
• Assist with quality checks (weight, torque, visual inspection, counts) and maintain logs.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMP, safety and housekeeping requirements.
