Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 2nd shift manufacturing role in Monticello, IA. Base pay starts at $20 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential, with shift timing 3:15 pm - 1:45 am.

The position involves setting up and operating heavy machinery, welding, and ensuring quality in a high production environment. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in high production manufacturing environment.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Familiarity with safety rules in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Weld using submerged arc welder for flat bar as required.
• Maintain quality by applying knowledge of production techniques and continuous improvement practices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment.
