Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Machine Operator for our fast-paced Michigan manufacturing facility. You will safely and efficiently operate packaging and processing machinery on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm), with a $1.00/hour shift differential and eligibility for performance bonuses.

Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of machine operation and packaging equipment experience, plus

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment following work order instructions and PPE guidelines.
• Operate all machines on the lines such as box formers, drop packers, tippers, fillers, palletizers, depalletizers, labelers.
• Perform changeovers as required.
• Maintain and update hourly monitors, SPC, ISO, downtime and other reports.
• Dispose of waste products per company guidelines.
