Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Pocomoke City, MD is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (4pm–2:30am, Mon–Thu). You will assemble, test, and pack desiccators and pipette pumps, remove molded parts, inspect, and perform post-molding operations on the production line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic math, and a solid attendance record. Prior manufacturing exposure is helpful, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some manufacturing experience helpful.
• Solid work history and good attendance.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide) in all units

Responsibilities

• Remove molded products from the molding machine and inspect parts.
• Perform limited size inspections using gauges or calipers.
• Perform post-molding operations such as gates milling, drilling, inserts, or hot stamping.
• Pack finished parts into master cartons for shipment.
• Possibly operate a regrinding machine or assist on other machines as needed.
• Maintain production statistics and report to Lead Operator at shift end
