Job summary

SP Industries Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Pocomoke City, MD. You will assemble desiccators and pipette pumps, test finished products, and pack them for shipment.

The role is full-time on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4pm-2:30am). Responsibilities include operating molding equipment, inspecting parts, performing post-molding operations, and maintaining production statistics for shift leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Solid work history and good attendance.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Remove molded products and visually inspect, degate and trim parts.
• Perform basic size inspection with gauges and micrometers as needed.
• Milling gates, drilling holes, inserting inserts, hand removal of mold components.
• Pack finished parts into master cartons.
• Maintain production statistics and report shift results to the Lead Operator.
