Job summary

Crusader Paper Company is seeking experienced Machine Operators for our 2nd shift in North Andover, MA. You will work Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with a four-day workweek and a 15% second-shift differential.

Training on first shift may occur for 30–60 days with base rate $26.25/hour during training and $30.19/hour on the 2nd shift, plus overtime potential. This role involves setting up and operating paper-converting equipment, performing quality checks, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify problems and make appropriate adjustments during production.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as production needs require.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in paper converting, sheeting, coating, laminating, printing, or a similar manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy manufacturing and paper-converting equipment.
• Monitor equipment and make adjustments throughout production runs.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and production issues.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Handle and prepare materials used in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work closely with other operators and production team members.
• Help maintain production schedules while meeting quality and safety requirements.
