Seaman Paper Co. in Gardner, MA is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor paper converting equipment, load rolls, and perform quality checks to ensure high-quality products.

This full-time role offers two shifts with a pay differential for the 2nd shift and opportunities for cross-training and skill development. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain GMP standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with operating machinery or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate paper converting equipment such as sheeters, slitters, and crepe streamer machines.
• Load and unload paper rolls using forklifts, clamp trucks, and overhead hoists.
• Monitor production, adjust equipment for quality and efficiency, and perform quality checks.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Identify and report product defects, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Rotate duties to keep production moving and support team members.
