Job description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several 2nd shift Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Lafayette, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, manufacturing, and quality of machinery. Positions are full-time, temporary to hire.

Pay Rate

$19.50 per hour

Shifts and Schedules

2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm - midnight

2nd Shift Machine Operator Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with extrusion machines
• Operate assembly stations using push buttons or guiding handles
• Prepare materials for removal by warehouse personnel
• Pack products into large boxes, plastic bags, or place in large wire buggies for warehouse removal
• Inspect products for quality and pack according to specifications
• Complete all required paperwork accurately
• Immediately notify supervisor of any production or quality issues

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds (in-office lifting assessment required)
• Ability to work in a high-moisture environment
• Background check and drug screening required

Benefits include weekly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, short-term disability, life insurance, a $40 service bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours, and 6 paid holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours.
