Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a 2nd shift LTC operator for the evening shift (4:00 PM–12:00 AM). You will operate and set up metal forming equipment, inspect output, and complete required paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe work environment in New Bedford, MA.

The role requires basic math, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and the capacity to work in a loud industrial setting. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to work in loud, hot/cold environments.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Must be able to lift to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and JFA.
• Ensure production materials are available.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
