The Hallmark in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm). Pay is $38.00 per hour, with on-site work in a senior living community.

The LPN will supervise RCAs and MTs, coordinate resident care, administer medications, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and timely communication with residents and family members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed in state where you work.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred.
• Be in good physical health and able to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delegates work assignments to ensure effective shift coverage.
• Supervises delivery of personal care to residents.
• Administers medications per physician orders and documents in MAR.
• Conducts shift change reports and maintains medication cart security.
• Monitors resident health changes and communicates with physicians.
• Orientates and trains new associates.
