Job summary

Encore Senior Living in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time, second-shift position. The role involves administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining accurate resident records in a warm, home-like community.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred), be at least 18, and hold an Illinois nursing license.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a health care environment or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Illinois licensure as a nurse is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents and assist with daily care.
• Properly store medications and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and ensure labels meet state standards.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of residents and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
