Job summary

AFC Materials Group, headquartered in Lake in the Hills, IL, is hiring a General Assembler to operate converting equipment for PTFE clamshell components. You will ensure accurate cutting, inspection, looping, rolling, and inventory control while maintaining quality, efficiency, and a safe work environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus manufacturing experience preferable. English literacy in work instructions is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating cutting equipment, material handling equipment, or converting machinery is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, job orders, procedures, and safety documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and in-process materials to ensure compliance with quality standards during production.
• Loop clamshell parts using 700-degree looping equipment.
• Roll, package, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Complete all required inventory transactions accurately within the company's ERP system.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Demonstrate and uphold AFC's Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
