UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an assembler to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications.

The role requires securing and maintaining correct parts and supplies for the operation. Responsibilities include setting up the work area, assembling parts per instructions, operating hand tools, and stacking finished products while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience is required; 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong math calculation skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and labels/bands components when required.
• Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Performs pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Participates in safety, continuous improvement (CI), and other programs and meetings.
