TFE, a family-owned producer of Fluid Power and Power Transmission products in northeast and central Indiana, is seeking a Production Assembly Operator. This light-labor role emphasizes attention to detail, accurate measurement, and teamwork on first and second shifts (7am-3pm and 4pm-12am).

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machinery, inspecting materials, assembling components, maintaining records, and keeping the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings/diagrams.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence and memos; convey information courteously.
• Math skills to perform basic calculations and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery to produce finished goods per work order.
• Prepare equipment for production according to specifications.
• Review materials for quality control.
• Assemble and cut various materials.
• Maintain and read records of work performed and materials used.
• Maintain inventory of stock and production runs.
• Maintain safety and shop cleanliness.
