Job summary

Siemens seeks a Logistics Supervisor for 2nd Shift at the Fort Worth, Texas facility. You will lead a 10- to 20-person team and oversee Receiving and Shipping, collaborating with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning to keep production moving.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/inventory control, a related degree, and strong leadership plus communication skills. On-site position with a competitive pay range and opportunities to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply-chain management strongly desired; combination with work experience considered
• Proven leadership skills with ability to work with various levels in an organization
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentations skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Shipping responsibilities; lead a team of 10–20 team members
• Ensure accurate receipt of products, store inventory, and ship to customers
• Handle team schedules and daily assignments
• Drive continuous improvement, standard processes, root cause analysis and resolution
