Job summary

CEVA Logistics is hiring for a Supervisor I to lead the 2nd shift in Millington, TN. You will oversee transportation and customs processes, manage customer service for shipments, and ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations.

You will supervise staff, monitor performance, and coordinate documentation such as invoices and bills of lading while maintaining flexible hours and a focus on process improvements. Strong leadership and logistics knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and four years of related experience.
• One year supervisory experience minimum.
• Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent.
• Three years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Provide supervision and control for all departmental activities; assist in retention and training of staff and customers.
• Conduct staff meetings to assess status, discuss improvements, and inform staff of new developments.
• Oversee shipment documentation accuracy; review invoices, bills of lading, and statements for regulatory compliance.
• Compute duties, tariffs, and weight/volume of merchandise for exports/imports; communicate with customs officials to obtain release and resolve delays.
• Establish, monitor, and revise policies and service standards for customs clearance operations.
