Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Traffic Clerk for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:10 PM – 11:10 PM) in Lancaster. The role focuses on scheduling truck deliveries and pickups, coordinating with drivers and customer service, and maintaining accurate shipping records and documents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in scheduling or dispatch.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience coordinating driver schedules and freight including accurate freight documents (BOLs).
• Dispatch or TMS experience is preferred.
• Proficient in email communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to fit warehouse operations.
• Meet service and efficiency standards for shipping and receiving.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and BOLs.
• Handle customers and dispatch inquiries at the window.
• Maintain data and records for shipping activities.
• Keep logs legible and accurate.
• Assist in training new associates.
• Maintain facility security and orderliness.
• Keep dock door control board accurate.
• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area.
• Provide polite, service-oriented interactions with customers and colleagues.
