Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC, is hiring Overhaul Technicians for the locomotive truck overhaul shop on 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). You will support critical overhaul work for our TSSSA customers.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspecting and fitting components, re-profiling wheelsets with a wheel lathe, and using pressure washers; you will move trucks with cranes and coordinate with warehouse for parts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a predominantly mechanical environment.
• Experience documenting work performed and results clearly.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret instructions.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsabilités

• Overhaul maintenance on locomotive trucks to meet production plans.
• Remove, inspect, and fit components per work instructions.
• Re-profile wheelsets using wheel lathe to restore performance.
• Use pressure washer to pre-clean components for inspection.
• Safely move locomotives using overhead cranes and trolleys.
• Collaborate with warehouse to collect spares and parts.
• Maintain organized workshop and assist as directed.
