Job summary
FurstStaffing is seeking a Line Inspector/Production Technician for the second shift in Rockford, Illinois. You will inspect products for defects, monitor flow and packaging quality, and document production batches in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include supporting machine setup, performing ERP transactions with RF scanners or computers, and following SOPs, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean, safe work area and contributing to team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and ability to multitask in a production setting.
- Basic report writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor product flow and packaging quality during production.
- Complete production and batch documentation accurately.
- Perform ERP transactions using RF scanners or computers.
- Assist with machine setup, operation, and cleanup.
- Follow all SOPs, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement and team initiatives.
