Job summary

Heroes Talent Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Operator Maintenance Mechanic for our Rockford, IL facility on second shift. This role combines machine operation, die setting, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure safe and efficient production.

The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while upholding high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating production machinery.
• Basic mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and maintain fabrication equipment.
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues.
• Read engineering drawings for proper installation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
