Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH is seeking an Operations Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee a team of about 30 hourly employees. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while applying Lean principles and VOC feedback to continuously improve processes.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves collaboration with Engineering and Quality to resolve major process issues and lead cost-saving initiatives. Travel is under 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ years of experience or equivalent education and work experience.
• Proven Lean Manufacturing experience and its application.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operating systems.
• Advanced level decision-making experience.
• Supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to engage team members.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and attendance standards.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards, plus budget and cost control.
• Supervise 3rd shift production and material handling to meet schedules.
• Lead daily Gemba walks and KPI board reviews to track performance and identify improvements.
• Review production reports and resolve operational and maintenance challenges.
• Improve resource use by directing workflow to meet production plans.
• Apply Lean principles and VOC feedback to improve processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and peers on major issues.
• Contribute to facility planning, layout and project work.
• Provide feedback on projects such as AOP development and capital planning.
• Travel requirements: less than 25%.
