Job summary

Allegion in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Production Controller (2nd Shift) to establish and maintain the daily production schedule in alignment with the master plan. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, coordinating with the Production Team to meet customer demand and inventory goals.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and knowledge of receiving and materials movement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate root cause analysis; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily production manufacturing priorities aligned with master scheduling, inventory objectives, and service levels.
• Implement production tools for building to actual customer demands, Kanbans, and expediting per Lean concepts.
• Execute priority changes due to customer requirements or shortages.
• Coordinate with Customer Care to process customer order requests.
