Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Machine Operator II to safely produce quality corrugated products within a small crew. You will set up orders correctly, perform quality checks, and communicate issues to maximize machine efficiency.

This full-time role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires 3+ years in manufacturing or 4+ years if no degree. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with manufacturing experience or 4+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to read a tape measure to within 1/16".
• Strong data entry, math, and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders per customer specs and prepare tools for each job.
• Perform first article and in-process quality checks.
• Enter production metrics into the computer system to track output and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and help troubleshoot to maximize OEE.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Assist with minor repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area per post-order process.
• Follow plant safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
