Job Overview

The 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) Filling Machine Operator position is available at KitPackers, LLC in Germantown, WI. This role requires self‑motivation and collaboration within a clean, modern facility with advanced equipment. The successful candidate will work on dispensing adhesives and specialty chemicals or liquids into containers using various packaging equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, disassemble and clean basic packaging equipment (Simplex, Ram, G-100 gun, Heat Sealer, Shotmeter and Hand Pours).
• Fill samples, dualpaks, bottles and other basic fills as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; inspect machines to ensure cleanliness before use.
• Perform material checks, first piece inspections, post-package inspections and clean checks.
• Assist lead personnel in training new and existing packagers.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and actively participate on improvement teams.
• Complete 5S audits as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read basic math.
• Ability to learn how to operate machinery, provide basic maintenance to machinery, follow safety standards and protocols, and follow Bill of Material and work instructions.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Second Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Preferred Requirements

• Above 2 years up to 10+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience preferably from a custom adhesive, chemical, paint manufacturing or liquid packaging/filling environment.
