Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 3+ years automotive/heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role in a fleet/maintenance environment; 3 additional years of progressive supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle and equipment maintenance issues.
• Plan, organize, and direct daily shift operations to meet fleet goals.
• Monitor vendor activities to ensure timely repairs and parts under warranty management.
• Assist Shop Manager in overseeing daily shop operations and team leadership.
• Provide responsive internal customer service and coordinate fleet-wide projects.
• Track and manage work orders to maintain fleet availability.
• Build strong working relationships with staff, departments, and vendors.
• Support procedures for a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
• Assist with employee performance input for annual evaluations.
