Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Lead Evis (2nd shift) at the Center Processing Plant in Center, Texas. The role assists the supervisor, coordinates daily department duties, and ensures safe, compliant operations in the debone area.

You will monitor equipment, address mechanical issues, manage staffing assignments, and provide coverage when needed. The position requires at least six months of lead experience with Tyson and willingness to work 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six months of Lead experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation.
• Monitor equipment and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met.
• Make staffing decisions based on product flow and attendance.
• Relieve line personnel during breaks and cover for absenteeism.
