Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a bilingual Second Shift Janitorial Supervisor to lead a team on the 2nd shift, overseeing scheduling, training, safety, and daily operations.

You will supervise cleanrooms and labs to meet GLP/GMP and Alcon standards, manage inventory, complete documentation, and coordinate with QA, R&D, and regulatory personnel while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising janitorial staff.
• Knowledge of cleanroom and laboratory standards.
• Experience in regulated facilities (GxP) is preferred.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of janitorial staff on the second shift.
• Manage scheduling, task assignments, and team performance to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide training on janitorial processes, cleanliness standards, and safety procedures.
• Foster a positive team environment and ensure effective communication across shifts.
• Cover absences to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Oversee cleaning of cleanrooms and labs ensuring compliance with GLP/GMP and Alcon protocols.
• Maintain cleanroom procedures including gowning, disinfection, and contamination control.
• Ensure training is certified and documentation is complete (logbooks, SOPs).
• Monitor safety, PPE use, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Manage janitorial inventory and equipment, and coordinate supplies with supervision.
• Complete management reports and SDS compliance, and coordinate with QA/R&D/regulatory teams.
