Job summary

Vestis in Los Angeles Production, CA is seeking a team member for a 2nd shift in an industrial laundry facility. You will handle merchandise safety, accuracy, and timely processing on the ironer, while maintaining clean work areas and following established procedures.

The role requires basic math, ability to read instructions, and strong teamwork with dependable attendance. Overtime may be required; shift ends at 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift-based schedule, may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on ironer to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in storage carts.
• Manoeuvres full and empty carts.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows production practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
