Job summary

Vestis is seeking a team member to perform duties in an industrial laundry facility. You will safely and accurately handle merchandise, stage and feed items on the ironer, and ensure quality control throughout the process.

The role requires basic math, good communication, the ability to work with others or alone, and willingness to work a shift schedule that may include weekends and overtime. You must be able to push carts and stand for long periods in a dusty, noisy warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand instructions and basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift work may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on ironer properly to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in correct carts.
• Maneuvers full and empty carts.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment; follows best practices.
