Job summary

NOW Foods is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I on the 2nd shift in Bloomingdale, IL. You will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy for finished goods, bulk, and packaging materials, using RF scanners and PIT equipment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, updating Oracle records, and supporting the Shipping/Receiving team to ensure timely material flow and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals to understand weights and measures.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems with various concrete variables and limited standardization.
• OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Moderate data entry; MS Office; strong attention to detail; teamwork and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform daily cycle counts in the warehouse using RF scanners and PIT equipment.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory cycle count reports and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain accuracy of computer perpetual inventory and identify variances for correction.
• Assist in organizing and consolidating stocks to optimize space and efficiency.
• Provide administrative support to Warehouse Shipping and Receiving teams.
