Job summary

The position runs 2:30 PM–1:00 AM Monday–Thursday with occasional overtime. Prior ink mixing or printing experience is a plus; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2+ years related experience or equivalent
• 1 year experience in the printing industry preferred
• Experience with quality control, blending, color matching, and following recipes
• Ability to read and interpret rulers and measurement devices
• Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Mixes pressroom ink to required specifications
• Assists Press Operators with on-press color adjustments
• Uses color measurement devices and associated software when necessary
• Maintains ongoing inventory of inks and supplies
• Conducts daily and weekly ink inventories
• Conducts monthly ink inventory of all inks in production
• Ensures PCM procedures and quality management sign-offs
