Job summary

Brook & Whittle Limited is seeking an Ink Technician for 1st shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The role focuses on ensuring ink supply, color matching, and coordination with management, sales and customers during approvals.

You will stage ink, manage inventory, and assist press operators with changeovers while maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of ink-related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced print production

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ink experience and color management required.
• Able to understand upstream/downstream operations and perform duties accordingly.
• Must handle confidential information discreetly and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel; basic data collection systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review print schedule to ensure adequate ink supply.
• Understand color matching on UV, LED and rotary inks.
• Collaborate with management, sales and customers during approvals.
• Stage ink and return it to inventory; manage ink waste.
• Assist press operators during changeovers and ensure accurate documentation.
• Identify process improvements and help increase productivity.
