Job summary

DuraTech Industries, a growing global Printing Manufacturer located in La Crosse WI, seeks a 2nd shift Ink Technician to generate ink formulas and mix inks per customer and production needs. This role approves colors and troubleshoots color issues in ink and screening departments.

You will review work orders, mix inks, perform color checks, operate equipment, and determine color formulations to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with ink and printing test equipment preferred.
• Experience in matching inks, doing drawdowns and weighing batches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders for accuracy and on-hand inventory; calculate requirements.
• Mix ink according to specified formulas.
• Perform color checks against approved masters to meet customer specs.
• Operate department equipment and complete forms per work instructions.
• Determine color formulations to produce samples matching customer specifications.
• Screen samples using hand table or screen printing press.
