Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Hartford, CT is hiring a direct-hire, full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM EST) with occasional weekends. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment to minimize downtime.

You will perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations, utilize inventory and work-order systems, and track

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines, PLC systems, and electromechanical production equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, relays, and sensors.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedules, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and track repairs with a tablet.
