Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Reading, PA, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, responds quickly to breakdowns, and uses inventory/work orders to keep operations efficient. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyors and PLC systems.
• Able to read schematics and service manuals; proficient with Windows PC environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyors, PLC systems and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts/supply inventory using EAM.
• Evaluate problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs promptly.
• Use a tablet to track work and machine downtime and inventory.
• Perform additional duties as required.
