Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Hartford, CT is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment including conveyors and printers, with a schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM EST and occasional weekends.

This is a full-time role with overtime potential. You will perform preventative maintenance, interpret schematics, use testing tools, and document work on a tablet while minimizing downtime and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyors and PLC systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards and respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime.
• Maintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing EAM and track work with a tablet.
