Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Westminster, MD is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:00pm). The role supports a highly automated distribution center with extensive conveyors and powered equipment, requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities include executing maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in electrical and/or mechanical trades is helpful.
• Experience with carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry or welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote the company safety policies.
• Perform maintenance tasks via work orders and preventive maintenance in the CMMS system.
• Troubleshoot conveyor systems and other key equipment; PLC knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Grow through training and certification programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
