Job summary

Schweid & Sons is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift at our facility in College Park, MD. The role focuses on industrial maintenance, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems to keep production lines running smoothly.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of maintenance experience, be a team player, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance while adhering to GMP and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Able to work in a cold, wet, and humid environment.
• Adheres to safety, GMP, attendance and HR policies.
• Self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities

• Work well with others to improve production.
• Understand equipment failures and troubleshoot repairs.
