Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESSdivision is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role offers a 40-hour work week with potential overtime and an hourly rate of $32.40.

Responsibilities include maintenance and installation of facilities and production equipment, supporting layout changes, Kaizens, and LEAN initiatives. RequiresReadiness to work with engineers and operators; forklift experience essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/facilities maintenance experience or related experience.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit; 50-mile radius restriction; active duty exempt.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to read facility layouts and drawings; interact with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers, Project Managers and other functions on plant/department layout proposals/Kaizens.
• Coordinate with Santa Ana's building and grounds contractors as needed.
• Assist in development of prototype equipment and processes using LEAN concepts.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems with operators and supervisors.
• Support improvements to manufacturing processes and layouts.
• Assist with MESH implementation and environmental, safety and health initiatives.
• Perform general maintenance (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Collaborate with HR and EHS on miscellaneous activities; handle special projects.
